Guest checkout is a great option to choose if you don’t want to create an Envato Market account or if you would rather set up your account at a later time. All you need is a valid email address! There’s no limit on the number of times you can purchase as a guest.
If you decide to create your Envato account in the future, you’ll need to use the same email address that you used during guest checkout. This will ensure all your previous purchases will be available in your profile.
How do I make a purchase using guest checkout?
You can use the “Buy Now” option to purchase a single item, or the “Add to Cart” feature to purchase multiple items. Once you have selected the item(s) you wish to purchase, go to Checkout, enter your email address and select “Checkout as Guest”.
You must ensure that your email address is valid and correct. Your purchase code details, invoice and a link to download your item will be sent to the email address you provide.
Fill in your name and billing details, then select your preferred method of payment. Please take a moment to make sure your order and your personal details are correct before finalising your purchase.
What are my payment options?
To purchase your items you can use:
- Your bank account or credit/debit card via PayPal
- Your Visa or Mastercard.
All payments are made in US Dollars. PayPal accepts all major credits cards.
Paying by PayPal
Choose “PayPal” to complete a purchase using PayPal and select “Checkout with PayPal”.
You will be directed to a secure page to make your payment with your PayPal account (or with a credit or debit card through PayPal's Guest Checkout option). Once complete, you will be returned to Envato to finalise your order.
You will need to check your email and confirm your email address in order to complete the payment and access your item.

Paying by Credit Card
To complete a purchase using your credit card, select the option showing Visa and Mastercard logos and enter your credit card details.

- You will not be able to save your credit card details when checking out as a guest
- Currently we accept Visa and Mastercard. If you wish to pay using a different card type, such as American Express, please use Paypal and check out as a guest
- Your card details are never transmitted to or stored on Envato servers.
How do I download my item?
Once you have successfully completed your purchase, you will see a purchase confirmation page with a link to download your item, as well as your purchase code details and a link to create your Envato account (if you wish to). This information, along with your invoice, will also be sent to the email address that you entered during checkout as a post purchase confirmation email.
If you completed your purchase using PayPal, you will first need to check your email and confirm your email address. Once confirmed, you will be sent a post purchase email containing a link to download your item, purchase code details, invoice and a link to create your account.
We recommend that you download your item immediately.
The link to download the item is single use. If you need to download your item again, simply create your Envato account using the same email address and get unlimited access to your items.
What do I do if I need help after making my purchase?
If you require assistance after you’ve completed your purchase, you can submit a request to our Help team.
Please ensure to include the email address and full name you used to check out as a guest, so we can locate your purchase information.
How do I create my Envato account?
You can create your Envato account at any time and it only takes a few moments.
You’ll see a link to create your account in your post purchase confirmation email. Simply click on “Create an Account!” and you will be directed to the Sign in page where you can choose your username and password.
Alternatively, click here and select “Create an Envato Account”. Enter the same name and email address that you used for your guest purchase to create your account.
You will be sent a confirmation email to verify your account so make sure you check your email.
All personal details that you entered during guest checkout, such as your email address and name, will already be added to your profile. These details can be changed via the “Settings”.
The downloads page will display all purchases you’ve made using the same email address via guest checkout.
Once you’ve created your account, you will have access to additional post purchase assistance so you can:
- Access unlimited downloads of purchases
- View full purchase history and invoices
- Leave ratings or reviews for purchased items
- Update your personal details
- Submit a refund request
- Access your item(s) licence certificate
- Access item support from the item seller (if applicable for your item)
- Ability to purchase support upgrades (if applicable for your item)
If you discover that your email address is incorrect or if you need your post purchase email resent, submit a request to our Help team. Once we have verified your details we will be able to assist you with any changes.
What do I do if I can’t find my post purchase email?
You can submit a request to our Help team and we can resend your post purchase email to the email address you entered during checkout.
How do I get support for my ThemeForest or CodeCanyon item?
Many ThemeForest and CodeCanyon authors include 6 months of support with their items. If you have purchased a supported item and want to contact the author for help, simply create your Envato account and navigate to the Support tab on the item page. You will also be able to extend or renew your support if you need to.
