• Why am I getting a "zip failure" or "invalid Template Kit" error?

  This error typically indicates that the file you are trying to upload is not an Elementor template kit compatible with the Template Kit Import plugin.

  Many "template" types are available on Envato Market, but not all of them are compatible with WordPress or Elementor. Our plugin supports items found under the Template Kits Elementor category on themeforest.net only: https://themeforest.net/category/template-kits/elementor

  • If your item says "Site Template," "Bootstrap Template," "HTML Template," "XD Template," or any other template type, it is probably not compatible with WordPress and cannot be installed using our plugin.

  1. Download your file again and ensure it is not being unzipped. If you use Safari, you must ensure "Open Safe Files After Download" is disabled under Preferences.
  2. Upload the kit zip file to the Elements Installed Kits menu (Elements plugin) or Tools Template Kits (Import plugin).

• Why is my "PHP Zip Extension not loaded"?

  This error indicates an incompatibility with PHP on your server. To solve it, please ensure your PHP version is 7.4 or 7.5 (not 7.3 or 8).

  Additionally, ensure the zip extension for PHP is installed.

  • To verify, go to Elementor System Info and check if "Zip Installed" says "Yes". If it says "No," the extension is not loading, and you'll need to troubleshoot your server configuration.

  1. Log in to your hosting account.
  2. Click cPanel Admin.
  3. Under "Software," click Select PHP Version.
  4. Look for "zip" and click the checkbox.
